ABOUT US

Hey, we’re Dan and Ellen - brother and sister, creative partners, co-founders of Flarewear, and best mates since day one.

We’ve been pretty close our whole lives. From the start, we were always building something - whether it was Lego houses, home movies in the backyard, or teaming up to beat brutal videogame levels. It wasn’t just play, it was practice. We were creating worlds, telling stories, solving problems together. That’s always been our thing.

Starting Flarewear wasn’t some perfectly planned thing. It came from a mix of stubborn ambition, personal struggle, and a need to do something that actually matters.

For me (Dan), business has always been the goal. Over the years I’ve tried a few different paths, from working a 9 to 5 office job to being a Personal Trainer. Eventually I found eCommerce and knew straight away it was what I wanted to do. I failed plenty of times, but every failure taught me something new and pushed me to keep building.

Eventually I saw what was right in front of me: Ellen’s creative talent. She’s always had this unique way of turning emotion into art. Whether it’s design, visuals, or just the way she sees the world. I knew all she needed was a bit of direction and a push. So I gave her one, and we ran with it.

Ellen’s been through hell the past few years. Chronic illness completely flipped her world. (Read Elle's Story Here) Even on the hardest days, her creativity never left, it just showed up in new ways. She’s always been the artistic one. Film, graphic design, photography, drawing. She has that eye for visual storytelling that makes you feel something.

Flarewear was our way of combining forces. I bring the hustle, she brings the vision. Together, we’re creating a brand that speaks for people who often feel unseen - those living with invisible illnesses, chronic pain, mental battles… stuff most people don’t talk about.

Every design has a story. Every drop supports a cause. And every product helps raise money and awareness for people like Ellen - the fighters, the creatives, the quiet warriors who deserve to be heard.

This is more than a clothing brand. It’s a movement for people in the thick of it - and we’re just getting started.

Welcome to Flarewear.
